Smokebomb me home, Ninja!

While I don’t think I’m anywhere near shipping it, I’m really interested in Debbie and the Ninja’s relationship, especially in the future once Randy figures out Debbie is trying to find out his secret identity. Debbie does occasionally get annoyed with him, but she seems to hold him highly, at least enough to trust his opinions on the soupsicles. I wonder if her positive thoughts of him (along with her crazy observance and curiosity) is why she’s now so determined to figure out his identity. In turn, Randy’s actually been pretty nice to her, even when he’s telling her to do something different with her news stories. Since this show has never played with a character trying to find out the Ninja’s identity, I’m really intrigued to see where this storyline and relationship go.

Everything about this brief scene, Bruce McCheese driving the bus to help the Ninja, Julian and NG sitting together in the background, Heidi and Theresa chatting, Bash and and one of his friends bullying Ranginald Bagel—it’s all gold to me.

So, if Debbie’s been set up as a new hurdle for Randy in the new episode, I’m positive that Julian’s on the same, maybe even darker pathway. I’m so happy we’re getting these student-foes for Randy to deal with.

And Littlefoot knew for certain that he was alone.

                  (via benvoliotheorphan)

Bambi and Lion King immediately tried to distract children from the deaths of the parents. Bambi had the sweet little birds come flying in, and singers coming in to sing about them. Lion King, while they showed Simba running away, Scar ascending the throne, we can’t focus on that TOO much so let’s throw in a wacky, zany song by two new characters who sing about forgetting your worries! No, quick, jingle the shiny keys in the sad child’s face before they get too sad about the dead characters!

But Don Bluth and his team brought a movie that showed actual stages of grief with this little dinosaur and it is powerful to this day.
